1) Our Club
None of our present members admit to when the club was formed, it must have been in the mid 60's. We average 40 to 50 members .We hold our Annual General Meeting in the Spring, from which committees are formed to organize the flying events. We usually hold 2 or 3 fun fly events per year.
There is a wide range of interest in the members. We have pilots who fly Gliders, Helicopters, Sport Scale, World Class Scale, Sport Aerobatics, 1/4 Giant Scale & we are now well into Electrics!
We are in the South East Zone, Zone Director.....Clair Murray.
2) Training
We
have a training program, that students have to pass before they are given their
wings.
Teaching safe flying is a major consideration, model planes are not toys!
